Where to get this item:

size: 5.0" x 1.5"
Ease of installation:
scale of 1-10. 1 being a trained monkey can do it, and 10 being seek professional help. I rate this a 2.
Tools needed:
1. Precision standard screwdriver (eyeglass repair kit size)
2. Needle nose pliers
PRE INSTALL TIPS:
- TURN DOME LIGHT TO THE OFF POSITION.
- It is ALWAYS wise to disconnect the battery when doing electrical work. you might blow a fuse if you don't.
STEP 1: Remove dome light cover
- Locate the two spots circled in the picture below and using the precision screwdriver remove the light housing by inserting the screwdriver into the slot and twist.
STEP 2: Remove OEM light bulb.
- If your fingers are small enough just pull the light out. IF not, use the needle nose pliers, but DO NOT squeeze to hard.
STEP 3: Install the adapter bulb.
- choose the correct adapter bulb from the selection supplied with the dome light.
- Insert the adapter bulb as shown in the picture below:
STEP 4: Plug in LED light and install.
- plug the LED light in and test it before you peel the back and stick it in place. BE CAREFUL with the wires, the wires might come free from the solder.
- with the LED working properly, peel the tape off the back and stick the light into place as shown:
- Press firmly to make sure it is secure.
STEP 5: Tuck wires and recheck light.
- I tucked the wires up into the bulb housing.
Here's how I did it:
- don't worry about the wire going over the light. It doesn't show when the cover is back on.
STEP 6: Reinstall dome light cover.
- Install cover by inserting the tabs on the end opposite of the switch then push into place.
That's it. ALL DONE!!! These LEDs will AMAZE you. The extra lighting is wonderful for finding things at night, or giving the little ones in the back seat the ability to see when buckling up. Whatever the use. This is a MUST for ALL vehicles.

Looks like a nice easy upgrade. I still have issues with pictures of lights that are washed out with everything else black. Someone needs to make a tutorial on how take pics of lights in and on cars. May have to do some experimentation with that and post them.

LED's aren't made to fade on and off like that though so if you keep it like that some are going to burn out quicker than they should. I did the same in my Tc and now the LED turns on but after a few seconds it dims out then just turns off when it should be on.

If you are having an issue with your light I would suggest contacting the manufacturer and asking about their warranty policies.

Remember that the fading/color changing underglow lights come with a controller module. That fade is most cases is actually a pulse width modulation of the light changing over the fade time. It is reducing current to the LED, but it also reduces it's ON time between OFF times. If you have an LED flashlight with different brightness levels try this: wave your hand in the beam. As your brightness decreases. you'll see a strobe effect. The lower the brightness, the more pronounced the strobe effect. LEDs are current driven, not voltage driven.
