Amp problem

Default Amp problem

When ever I turn the music loud the amp turns off, does anybody have any idea what's going on?

Check your ground connection and make sure everything is very secure. Chances are you have your gains turned up too high and are clipping the amp and pushing it too hard. It is probably going into protect mode... what amp do you have and what speakers are you runnig? it may be time to buy a bigger amp

my amp use to do that when it use to over heat but check all your connections and make sure there fasened down right - also check the adjustments on your amp

2 reasons come to mind.
1. you might have your subwoofer, especially if it's a dual coil wired wrong. So the ohms are too low and it turn the amp off.
2. Your amp is simply overheating from the load.

do you have a cap? i had a cap in my last system and it wasnt grounded right and it made my whole system loopy...
