Default Questions from a first time buyer...

Hello everyone. This is a first time post from a newbie, so please be gentle. I'm looking at buying a new car, and the tC has really caught my eye. My problem is this: I'm a novest at best with cars. I dont do any mod'ing, or change anything on a car once I buy it. This being the case, what accessories should I add from the website? I want the car to look good. I know it looks good regardless, but I want to bling it out a little. Should I add the ground effects? How bout the tail lights? I really dont like the ones on it a whole bunch. How bout the spoilers? I would definitely like to add one. How bout fog lights? Would these be worth wild additions? Any help from all you experts would be awesome. Thanks in advance for helping a newbie.

You are going to get all kinds of suggestions from everyone here. Here are my personal faves:

Rear Lip Spoiler
LED Tail Lights
Fog Lights
B Pillar Applique
TRD Suspension or aftermarket I guess (TRD can get expensive if you get the springs and shocks installed at the dealer)

You'll probably also get some people who tell you to get all of your stuff cheaper in the aftermarket. Just get what you like. Build the car on Scion.com and see which combo looks the best!

I would say that if you arent into modding the car after the buy, then go all out on the purchase. The additions they have are nice. Alittle pricey for some of them. But overall for a first time buyer and someone who isnt going to add after the buy, they are worth it. I liked the ground effects kit and fog lights but I plan on a bodykit so i didnt waste the money. But now I am holding off on the body kit and doing performance. Now I wish I had the gorund effects kit.

You sound like if you dont do it at the buy you will never do it. So I say go for it. Get what you like and enjoy.

What color you like?

It's cool to ask other peoples opinions, but the fact that YOU get to have us customize it the way YOU want it is one of the best parts of buying a Scion. Good luck!!!

Thanks for the quick response so far everyone. I originally wanted the silver, but I'm really starting to like the Nautical Blue.
