I don't know the technical term used for this piece. It is the plastic cover for the side air bag between the front door and the windshield...
well it is popping off near the roof and halfway down the window. what do i do? is this something i can fix myself? i don't know if applying pressure to this area will deploy the airbag.
if i knew how to insert a picture i would take one for you to understand.

try pressing it back together. the air bag doesn't actually come out there. it is only in the roof line. i don't think you should have a problem if you try and snap it back together. if you don't feel you should try this, take it back to the dealer. i'm sure this is what they will try first.
