Turn signal bulb problem... maybe?
Ok, so I bought some chrome turn signal lights from ProStreetLighting on eBay (many good reviews and they were inexpensive, so I'm not mad about that)... well, I put them in and am worried. See, they didn't seem to pop in as snug as the factory ones... I could get them in and tight, but with a little jiggle they loosened right up... so I snugged them in best I could and secured them to the housing with electrical tape... I was just wondering if you guys thought they would be ok or if I should take 'em out and just get another set?
Well, I ordered another set of the CORRECT SIZE... but in the process, awesome me scratched one of the turn signal housings. Obviously? Not really. But it will still ____ the hell outta me.
i assume you're talking about the front turn signal lights? size 7440. the ones i recommend are here: http://www.cardomain.com/item/APC504144B they are chrome and light up amber.
I got my 7440s from Autolumination and the look sharp.

the Amber Chrome right under the Golf IV headlight.
It's a regular filament bulb not LED. I dont recommend LED for signals without using resistors.

i got my LED turn signals from JLeviSW. came with resistors. an hour or so to install. most of which was just finding a place to put the resistors. I ended up drilling a few holes and mounting them on the radiator support (i think that's what it is anyways).
