One word "Redline'. Get 2 quarts of MT-90. You may want to pick up a B&M short shifter while your at it. I ordered both from my local Advanced Auto. This combo did wonders for my tranny/shifting.

You're going to have to open the manual transmission filler hole. The level is normal where the fluid touches the bottom of the filler hole and fluid does not come out.

I would also recommend MT-90 . Fill the transmission enough to where the some of the new tranny fluid starts to leak out. Wait for it to stop leaking, then close the fill hole. You should only be able to fill it with 1.9 quarts.

Will This void the warranty if there is a transmission problem?

Also I just went from owning an evo to and xb and I feel the xb clutch is slipping. I dont know if this is a normal feel or what?

Also I'm always lugging in 1st gear and other times I over rev it. has this happend to anyone.

p.s Ive been driving stick for 10 yrs 98 tacoma 00 honda accord coupe 02 is300 05 evo and 2 06evos so I dont think its my inability to drive stick

Thanks everyone

You,re probably just feeling the difference between a performance clutch and a family car clutch.... Not your inability to drive stick, just your instinct to drive like a sports car.

Me too with the lugging in first, sometimes when i floor it, it slugs up to speed, and sometimes it goes so fast i overrev. I can't seem to figure out why

It will not void the warranty. The xB is an echo clutch and pressure plate in a 400 lb heavier car. Soooooo the clutch has a lot to be desired. I'm at 62k miles and still on the stock clutch. It still has some life but i dunno how much longer.

I thought i heard the TRD clutch is just an upgraded pressure plate with an OEM clutch disc. I could be wrong.

You can't go wrong with an upgraded clutch, I will be purchasing one when this clutch decides to go.
