Just a weird thought...

Why don't they make the remote controls that seem to come with most After Market HU's curved to fit on the steering wheel?

Seems like that would be a lot more convinient/safer then using a remote control while driving...

Only thing I can think of is that reception of the remote wouldn't be as great...

 

They have them. Some Pioneer units have them as optional accessories.

 

It's left and right handed. And it comes out if you want it to.

 

See now that makes sense to me.

Guess it's a cost thing. Share holders might not get that extra 2/5ths of a cent if they make the thing too usefull! ;)
