could be his original brake pads and rotors too, if you think about it, he is doing all high way and interstate driving up and down the state, so that means he could go hundreds or thousands of miles a day while barely using the brakes since there are very few reasons to stop and slow down unexpectedly, and he can use engine braking to slow down.

if he was driving stop and go all the time, then yeah, he would need new brakes on a regular basis.

 

true i guess i do mostely highway miles also and i replaced my front pads at 40k rotors i changed a lot later (maybe 90k?) when i got my bbk and replaced my rear rotors at 90k also and they still had meat on them. my milage could be off slightly but that sounds about right to me.

There goes my idea of contacting Guiness World Records about my mileage.

I must still have the World record for the most mileage on a Scion tC.
