Founder of West Coast Customs built this FR-S for his son’s 16th birthday, and now it could be yours.

West Coast Customs founder and CEO Ryan Friedlinghaus decided to do something cool for his son’s sixteenth birthday. “Little Ryan” was gifted a 2013 Scion FR-S for his birthday. Most 16 year olds would be stoked at the prospect of a new FR-S sitting in the driveway. However, that isn’t the WCC way. Of course, they had to do a custom build for the car. It’s been a few years, and 29,000 miles, since completing the build, and now it’s for sale.

So, what are you getting with this secondhand WCC special Scion FR-S?

Exterior-wise, a custom white with gold pearl BASF paint. It features the full Five Axis (5:AD) body kit, which is quite subtle considering the WCC crowd. Several gold accents and trim pieces are added to reflect “Little Ryan’s” personal touch. That may be a small sticking point for the next owner. A Magnaflow cat-back exhaust fills out rear diffuser. Tein coilovers with EDFC lower the ride height, and an ABT big brake kit fill out the multi-piece 19″ Asanti wheels. Aftermarket LED tails were also added.

The interior is full-on, with custom white upholstery and thousands of watts-worth of speakers. A upgradedĀ head unit and screen setup controls upgraded door and trunk-mounted speakers. The seats were embroidered with “Little Ryan’s” logo and gold stitching.

The full build was captured on video.

With some modified cars, there are questions of whether or not the work was done “right.” Funnily enough, the entire build was filmedĀ and then uploaded to West Coast Custom’s YouTube channel. You can judge WCC’s handiwork for yourself:
