Well I went to Honda dealer this morning and test drove a Civic Si (sedan). My first impression was the interior quality is solid! I thought they have the same quality with my tC but I was wrong, the layout is perfect to me and the interior is very comfortable. Then when I turned ON the car, I was impressed with the sound of the stock exhaust, it was quiet and deep. I noticed that there was no throttle delay unlike my tC. And then the salesman was begging me to test drive the car.. so we went out and drove the car for about 5miles and man it was fun. I can now say that I like the civic Si much better than my tC. So right now, I think I just found my next new car... but if ever I decided to get a civic Si, I'll definitely get the coupe version.

 

I really love the new digital clusters they have on the new Civics. Did you talk price with the dealer? Down here they're marking them up 3-8k over MSRP (both sedan and coupe Si's)

The Sedan LOOKS Way better than the coupe!!..My friend got the Sedan Si...Pretty cool..Way did they design the civic w/ such a short blunt ugly front???....I dont like the 2 Tier gauage cluster..I like my tC gluster better!

 

I wish the tc had a 6 speed like the si has.

 

6sp si? i drove a 5 spd. the upgrades are just navi out in my area. 6spd would be the s2000 for twice the price of a tc

 

No both 2007 Si coupe and sedan are 6speed. You probably drove a Civic EX.

 

it said si on the front? am i just so used to there only being 5 gears in the tC i didnt notice...strange. only pushed 4th in the test drive, couldnt take it up to need 6th. thanks for pointing it out to me though!

23 g's...my friend got it out the door at 25 g's...

 

they qouted me $22,300 out of the door and I was told that they can still negotiate the price when I'm ready to purchase. Btw, it is a base Civic Si Sedan.
