So how did i walk an Evo VIII??
So i'm on my way back to work from a site, and i'm heading downtown. I'm on the phone leaving a msg for my boss traveling in the slow poke lane on 290. Next thing i know, i see xenon lights in my rear view mirror coming at me at what seems to be the speed of light. Its and Evo, flying at about 110 mph. I finally finish my msg for my boss telling him i'm headed in, and i eventually catch up to the guy in traffic.
I figured...ehh, what the heck, let see what'll happen. The Evo's in front of me and we're both doin about 40....and then traffic clears up. As he takes off, I drop down into 4th and start inching on his bumper. I start getting too close to i signal and change to lanes to the one next to him. At this point we're almost neck and neck and i'm gaining on him inch by inch. By thi time we're doing about 75 but i see more traffic ahead so i slow down. If traffic weren't ahead i would have (as it appeared) walk right on by him...but i'll never know until it happens.
I'm so confused right now...lol i'm TOTALLY stock, well except for the fact that those eyebrows i have which add 20whp. Anywho, i pulled up next to him and saw that he did have another person in the car with him, but that still dosen't add up. Ahhh well, it was fun anyway while it lasted...

He wasn't racing. He would destroy you so fast it would make your butt hurt. Congradulations on tailgating an innocent person. He was probably in a hurry. It happens to me all the time when I drive a fast car. . . all these posers do their fly-by when I'm just in a hurry.

Modded for Modded, there simply is no comparing a modded EVO and a modded tC. If you want to talk value for the dollar, you may have some kind of arguement. But in terms of sheer performance capability, it's a completely different league. Chassis flex, composure, driving characteristics, transmission. . .
The EVO block is fundamentally a MUCH stronger engine. I'm no EVO fan (I would never own one), but I'm honest.

And I see where you are coming from now. You forget that you can't hear the tone of what you say, since it's all text. It's easy to misread a statement (as I did). It's almost a prejudice on other posters. . . all these bogus threads about tC's beating Corvettes and Ferrari's make me wanna puke. I made a wrong assumption about you by lumping you into that category. And what you said has total validity.
