Thats probably why you think evo's have so much lag. A 700hp evo definately has a monster turbo that creates a ton of lag.

stock turbo on an evo are pretty small
therefore quicker spools vs
a 700hp with a baby eater can take time to build its power

i was saying in his case, turbo lag would be a huge factor because rollin at 40 mph and low rpm's in 5th gear in a turbo car...hmmm i think an na car would pull on the evo.
