I just raced a base auto rsx with an intake and lost... What the hell.. well, i don't know if i really lost, but he was half a fender ahead.. then we hit a stop sign.. i haven't driven 500 miles on my car so it was tough for me to race.. we were also going down hill so i couldn't launch my car cause' i have a 5spd.. !@#%#$@%!! im so sad.. =[ anyone else want to share embarrassing losses?

 

Yea I raced my cousins Stage 2 Audi s4 and lost, it was sad hahaha. He sh*t on me beyond belief

 

haha.. that sucks dude.. Is your car stock? mine is.. i still thought i could beat his butt.. but i think the reason he won was because his car is 200 lbs lighter than ours.. =\

 

Yea mines stock, it could be manual driving skills..I thought I knew how to drive stick before but then my cousin and uncle helped me out a ton with getting off the line quicker and holding gears longer along with timeing, it makes a difference. You could have a fast car and not know how to drive stick very well and still get beat.

 

To be totally honest, it's not the car, it's you.

A 5 speed tC is definately capable of beating an Auto RSX.

 

my auto tC beat a auto RSX... for sure cuz my sis has one, and we race all the time

 

hmm.. damnit.. u think his intake and the downhill had some effect on my loss? or maybe the narrow road or a stop sign..

The intake barely did him any good, maybe a foot or two of ground between the two of you. Since it was downhill, you could've just dumped the clutch without much fear of spinning the tires, that would've actually benefitted the 5-spd more than the auto.
