sooo im still trying to understand how you "get the feel" of your car on a straight away

i mean its pretty easy:
1)mash gas
2)When purty orange needle hits 6300rpms push in clutch
3)Move shift **** accordingly
4a) Mash gas 4b) rev gas to proper rpms
5a) Dump clutch 5b) Engage clutch carefully
6) repeat as necessary

Options A are for people who fear nothing and don't care about there clutch as they'll replace with a bigger and better one when it blows or option B is for the Sally's out there who baby their car lol

maybe im just a genius or somethin.....

p.s.

which gear is most efficient for him. he was trying to figure out what's better for him, a 30mph roll in 2nd gear, a 40mph roll in 2nd gear, or a 40mph roll in 3rd. For me, I'm usually brake boosting @ 40mph in 3rd.

Yeah, but 2nd gear at 40mph puts him in the 5k RPM range. He would need to shift almost immediately. He just needs to practice it to find the sweet spot.

He just got tounge tied is all. There is no cat on the Civic, like there is none on mine.
open header meaning that its the header and nothing else. If your running open header there obviously is no cat there is no exhaust at all except the header an open one.

Anyways back on topic

I'm already ahead of ya...even though I get 15% off the LSD, Kenny advised me to hold out for the 6 speed. Even Misti would agree, she feels as though it needs another gear. It wasn't as noticeable N/A'ed. But on turbo, it feels like it for sure is ready for another gear. At 80mph and 3500(give or take a few) RPMs with a loud enough exhaust, yeah, you get annoyed a little.

At this rate, my Z will never see a mod.... I hope they have some break-neak prices on some Z items down at Nopi this year. I might score some test pipes or something small, like an intake.

It sounds like an open header. I did hear him mention he had an exhaust leak, so that could explain it.

Nice Video. I raced a 06 civic IS last month and I smoked him. Sometimes It's all about the driver. I wish I had a video of that race. The TRD S/C does need more upgrades parts. I have one nice question. It's just a yes or no question Are you showing that video to sell the ZPI turbo?

I don't work for ZPI.. I make vids for fun. I made vids when we had nothing but an exhaust. I make vids when we are turbo, nothing more, nothing less.

LOL....I was about to retire the vids and vowed not to post anymore. But maybe I will continue, haven't made up my mind. Like right now, I'm holding onto a ME vs. S2k video. I might just chalk it into the archives.

None the less:

Add S2k to my victory list..

Mods:
Said he had nothing but an intake, but I call BS! He kept up with me all through 3rd gear(AND I was brake boosting). Then I started walking when I shifted to 4th. Stock for Stock, a 350Z can walk away from an S2k. And you seen what the tC did to our Z. That's the way it should have been, but dunno..he kept up pretty good until 4th like I said.
