ive never heard of paypal balances ending up in negatives bc of a transaction gone wrong, the only way they an take the money to reimburse them to the other party would be if you have the money in the balance. ive never heard of an account being in negatives bc what makes paypal think you have to pay them back when you can just close the account and thats it, no social security or credit is needed to open up a fee paypal account, so it wont affect your credit at all.

idk, pal.

Incorrect, PayPal balances will be negative if you have a dispute and the money is not there to cover it. PayPal cannot go into your other accounts but it will automatically take any money you have come into your PayPal account in the future until the account is no longer negative.

When you begin to sell items and transfer more than the $500/month limit, you will need to upgrade your PayPal account which means supplying them with the SSN to perform a address verification check as well as some other info such as a bank account registered and credit card registered so yes PayPal does have the information to send a delinquent account to collections.

Hopefully they have. I would press the buyer to contact paypal since the seller has already done his part in resolving the negative balance.
