So why does everyone keep saying how good the products are?
beats me, i don't understand why too...

I must say, thanks again for the positive thoughts about my recovery... and well yes.. my last visit to the hospital was last week... but this week has been uneventfull... sometimes its hard... but when I came back from surgery... I encountered a tidal wave of problems... and again.. we are in business to be able to make money.. and that is no secret. So in this world... you are on your own.. so I have a business.. I have to take care of it right?

Last time I will said this: We do not take money from people until we are ready to ship the product. So stop saying that we take money and not ship anything.

Thanks Jay Jay... I will def call you so we can meet next week.

were currently distributing our products through a new distributer as well as retail locations, now were just going to manufacture our products, we will soon have our new distributer post a sponsored sales thread up and have our products listed with prices etc.. Please pm me or any of our sales associates if anybody has further questions.

I have read through this thread. And boy, some people take things really personal. I have personally looked at the Firmware website and yes, I am impressed with the products they offer. However, there is a difference between a product being offered and a company actually coming through with the product they advertise. Yes, we all understand that things happen and things don't fit and all that. But, as a consumer paying hundreds of dollars for a product as advertised and then being told when it will be received and never getting it, and then having to deal with poor quality, poor customer service, etc. I would be extremely frustrated as well. Yes, some of you have received your products and don't have any issues with them. Yes, some of you will back Firmware until they fall down and maybe after that. But the fact remains, the product was not received in a timely manner, the customer service was slightly horrible, and the customer was frustrated so he wanted to share that. I appreciate Jim's opinions as well as everyone else's and I also appreciate Firmware's interest in making things right. Let's just learn from this and move on. A business will suffer without customers. So keep your customers happy and up-to-date, and there will be no dissatisfaction. I look forward to possibly purchasing some of Firmware's products for my xB and yes I will be weary but hopefully they can redeem themselves and salvage what is left of potential customers because of this thread.

I am trying to give this company a second chance, after a pretty bad first experience last summer.

I would appreciate it if Mark would reply to my email or phone call, or JJ would reply to my PM. Is there something more I can do to facilitate responsive communication?

All I can say is, call the company and see if the item is in stock, if it is pay by credit card and if they don't deliver within 2-3 weeks do a chargeback. What are they going to tell the creditcard company, "Oh sorry demand is high and we are waiting for the product, NOT!"

LMFAO When will you people learn that all their T's are not cross and the I's not dotted and nothing has change regarding the customer service since 10/06

Note: 99% of the time, the management still does'nt get back to you . You need to rely on a 3rd party such as the sponsored people(not a paid employee) for product info. So if you have a problem, I feel sorry for you, cause you have been advised of the the Firmware smokescreen. "Believe it or not"

LMFAO Talk about Firmware's communication. Look at the 2/11/07 post above. You think they are going to communicate with the customers. "Believe it or not"

I don't recommend any third party. For any legit business, the contacts should be made directly to the business phone#. If you can't contact any legit business by phone and speak to a person. I'd be very wary, especially if you have product problems. Look at what I went thru. "Believe it or Not"

just so you know you cannot buy firmware parts (other then custom stuff) directly from them, in order to purchase you need to go to any firmware retailers (which i belive 2 off the top of my head are strictly scions, and motor fx)
if you want custom stuff then contact Jay about that.

and if anyone wants to get a hold of someone at firmware call them directly

and thanks for the good words carlos.

here' a recent 2/13/07 post on another blog for fiberglass doors LMFAO

i tried to buy firmware door panels before, never got any real info besides "send me your money since we have 1 set in stock" yet people in their group buy had been waiting months for their door panels. even Dave told me to wait on firmware since the door panels didnt fit right.

Mmm... why would someone representing Firmware tell another person this. the doors don't fit right LOL "Believe it or Not"
