He's just some kid that thinks he can have it his way. Well guess what Mik, I'm not Burger King. I would be very careful when dealing with this character. The only thing I am at fault for in this trade is, I lost a center cap somewhere. I'll be sending it as soon as I find it.
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...hlight=iforged
The deal was Work Emotion XD-9's with a good set of Bridgestone's + $150 for my iForged wheels with a good set of Kumho's.
He contacted me back in September... He started offering me wheels. All kinds of wheels, I was like no thanks. He kept saying his "friends" would give him to wheels to trade to me. Me living in BFE Pa, assumed Cali kid with a lot of friends into imports...
After maybe 2 weeks and numerous offers of different wheels. He shows me a set of "mint" Work wheels. I commit and say I'll trade straight up. We agree... He sent me the $150 non-refundable deposit... So I wait...
Over 5 weeks later I get the wheels. Delays because he sent wheels to some guy in New York and they had "issues". Wheels are damaged and tires are chewed up and have camber wear. What I find out during the last week is... He lives in Cali, he contacted someone in New York with the Work wheels. The New York guy wanted someone's wheels in Las Vegas... He trades or buys the wheels in Las Vegas... Then sends those to New York... The guy in New York sends me the wheels. So he's giving my info out to someone else that I never even spoke to. I don't like that...
I get the wheels and they are damaged and as stated before the tire is all chewed up. So we make a new deal. The new deal is I send just the wheels... or he pays me $100 more and I send him random tires with good tread. So I ended up driving my girlfriend's Mazdaspeed 3 loaded with 8 wheels and tires, I took them to 4 different places... Pay $20 per wheel to dismount/mount tires on them. 2 sets and did a full tire swap. $160 + tax.
He pays me $80.
This kid is texting me 4-5 times a day. It's very annoying. I'm getting stressed out. It's all throughout the day... From 7am to 3am daily. I told him, I'll send them out. It's hard to find someone around here that will even touch those wheels. I managed to have them mailed within 3-4 business days. He made me wait over a month and half. He couldn't wait. Bastard ___ kid.
So he get's them... He's _____ing up a storm.
1. I'll send it as soon as I find it. That one is my fault.
2. Chipping clear coat... that's wear and tear. I checked my post, it says right there that they all have wear.
3. The slash... I think either he did it or UPS did it or the picture he sent me was Photoshopped. He just thinks he can get himself out of deals or something. The kid isn't right.
Let's see... My friend at NTB and 3 of the other techs saw the tires... I watched him swap the tires inside the bay. My girlfriends saw the tires... The 2 techs at Walmart saw the tires... 4 friends that work at the shop + the owner of the shop that let me use his UPS account at the shop I took them to to ship them saw the tires... Over 11 people touched and looked over all the tires... Now you're telling me 11 people didn't see that "gash/slash" that showed up.
Something is wrong here. I'm not out to screw people over. I put up with a lot to deal with this kid in the nicest way possible. He's just playing games since the beginning. Making offers of wheels not in his possession. Taking over a month and a half playing tag with those wheels. Claiming the condition of wheels and tires that he's never seen or touched. Giving out my shipping info. Then pulling the slash in the tire... asking me to send back these wheels and pay for the shipping.
I already paid $160 to dismount/mount tires + $200 for shipping. $45 in packaging supplies... Then he expects me to pay another $45 in supplies + $200 for shipping... and in the end I would end up with my wheels with random tires with a gash... putting me $650 or so... added in my head... + wasting my time, with cheaper tires than I had on there before...
NO MIK! I am not throwing away $650, my time, my gas for all the running around I did on my part to follow through on my end just because you are unhappy with the end result, when in fact, I gave you all the details and pulled through. You can not just put together trades the way you did, you did it to yourself. You can't just come up with new terms as you go. The deal is done and the only thing I am going to send you is the missing center cap. If you want to send the wheels back to me... You are going to send me $650 for all my fees + $20 for gas, $50 for my time and replace the 4 tires @ $125 per tire and $20 per tire to remount... that were on my set of wheels I sent you because you are the reason why I replaced the tires anyway. A tire shop will not swap tires if they see a gash like that due to liability. I never drove on them after swapping them and they went into a brand new 2010 Mazdaspeed3... there is nothing back there to gash/slash the tire like that. That's why I think you did that on your own to make up new "terms", you said that the packaging was fine. I saran wrapped them in cardboard...
Don't play games with people and don't dick around. I did what I said, I was straight forward and I followed through. You don't see me asking you to reimburse me to get the Works fixed... Damage that was cause by UPS and spots that are covered up in white out and don't forget the chewed up tires with slight camber wear.

Hi Chris,
How are you? hope everything is fine. so, finally i get the rims at 11 am my time today. as soon as i get the rims, i checked whether the rims got any abuse or not. apparently nothing. the UPS take care of the rims nicely. so, here comes the reason i send you this msg.
1. when the first time i took the rims off the packaging, i take pictures. i found 1 of the rim missing center caps. try to find it on the packaging, but nothing. i dont think its on the packaging. cause, i tried to open the center caps from other rims, its really hard to open it. that means, it might still at your wheel shop or your house.
2. i looked at the lips and face of the rims. like you stated before, 1 of the rims has curb rashes. its ok, but the problem is and this is my biggest problem. all of the rims have clear coat chipping. its not from the UPS. its just the condition of the rims. take a look on the pic.
3. 1 of the tires has 1 big slash. you can look at the pic. i dont think i'm confident enough to use it.
so, after waiting for more than a week, and look at the condition of the rims, im really interested to use it. the condition isnt what you stated on your thread.
my offer solution: i'm gonna send this back to you on my expenses, and you please send the work rims on your expenses. and we call it done.
ok then, i'm going vacation to Houston tomorrow for 3 weeks. so hopefully we can finish this tonight, so i can send the rims tomorrow morning. you can call me or text or chat on FB. let me know. thanks
Mik

wow sorry to hear that, and it's horrible how he did other trades that you weren't aware of when the other person could of screwed him over and then you would of been screwed in a deal that you weren't awake of. honestly don't send him anything because he doesn't deserve it when you put alot of time and effort to ship out your wheels to him and paid out of your pocket to please him with the tires.
