I don't like shady shops too . . sorry this had happened to you and hope it goes your way. P-Tuning can go on my NO list. Thanks! and i'll let my club know too . . . and some companies just don't know what "word of mouth" means for their business.

yeah, i went to scion exposed this past fall, and so many of the cars there had so many great things to say about p-tuning. i'm litereally the only person i know who is having a problem with them.
I stopped going there after i had my coilovers put on by them. They said i needed new bolts to align the car, they had them in stock, so i bought them....then they came out and said they didnt have them in stock and told me to come back next week and they'll put them in for cheap. Next week, i drove the 50 miles back to them and they charged me a $60 install for THREE easy bolts for the alignment.

I remember a porche owner at an autocross event last summer who said p-tuning scratched his wheels and he had to fight with them as well.

I mean I wish all the best luck with drax and his case and hope it gets squared out but its no reason for some ppl on here to tell others to add this to ptuning's exhaust thread and then in ur sig. They are still my #1 shop for performance and i will continue to support them and recommend their work. Again sry drax and hope everything works out for ya
even though you're driving a nissan rental now? what happened to your car?

Hey Mar, haven't seen you on the boards in a long while, welcome back. Mo was saying you had some things going on with your ride, guess you got things straight now. Hit us up at the club boards if you get a chance, things have changed quite a bit and we're looking to do some new stuff this season.

Any update on the car situation?

Why because TWO people had an issue?

You can find ANY company in the world that will have two unhappy customers, that doesnt make them ALL bad.

three people*
First of all, a company's reputation also depends on how they act to correct a mistake e.g. Radial Tire or Wagon Works are 2 local shops that I have had experience with. They ALWAYS puts customer service first by building a positive relationship with the client and making sure they do PERFECT jobs. Yes, any company can make a mistake but if the job isn't satisfactory (a nicked wheel or problems with insurance) they fix it!

That's why when I needed any wheel/tire work I would go to Radial Tire, despite the 2 hour wait because they are TRUST worthy. Ptuning is not worth my wait NOR their high price. If i am to pay $120+ an hour I expect flawless service. If Ptuning was some cheap, small, shady, dirty enterprise, I could understand how they would try to point fingers and have an unsatisfied customer, but they have a beautiful large facility and prices to match.

Unfortunately, that alone will not bring back customers.

a good reputation is hard to earn and easy to loose
what has ptuning done to resolve the problem with drax's car?
because if he isn't happy, that means that it's still a very RECENT situation since it is still being dealt with.

the people at ptuning were friendly to me, but i think they're forgetting one important rule when it comes to their business: The Customer is Always Right.

The more i think about it, i say let it live. This is a perfect example of people taking advantage of the "Customer is always right" crap I'm sorry but the customer is NOT always right. Not directing this statement at anyone but many times the customer is always stupid!

This particular issue is a dead one though.

I agree witht he customer thing. The customer isnt always right. A customer gets work done, does somethign stupid then goes back and wants money back, that customer isnt right. (not saying that is the issue with this). Just sayign you cant always say the customer is always right.
