Drax, that completely sucks *****.... seriously. I can't believe they would do that. They have such a "good" reputation here on SL that they wouldn't do this to someone, especially how quickly bad service gets around (ZPI, Ledmods.net). But good luck with everything. Hopefully everything gets resolved and you get your money back.

damn drax, sorry to hear about the troubles. it's very unfortunate because you actually did your research on the shops and got customer responses about them too, all being positive. just try not to let this kill ALL hopes for you. good luck man

I've known about this prob for a while with drax but like lucisXIIII said they are normally great at everything they do, they did my turbo install and my car is there now getting ALOT of things done and I feel 110% safe with them,I dont agree with there action but IMHO more than likely they will not lose business with the good to bad ratio they have with cars goin there. I mean I wish all the best luck with drax and his case and hope it gets squared out but its no reason for some ppl on here to tell others to add this to ptuning's exhaust thread and then in ur sig. They are still my #1 shop for performance and i will continue to support them and recommend their work. Again sry drax and hope everything works out for ya

i didn't tell anyone to do anything.. i simply asked and they agreed.. i believe dax was shafted by carelessness and un professionalism which should never of happened.

So if i feel that way then im going to show it... they may do your work fine but don't you think some of the people who have had a problem show it... they obviously did shady work in this case. with just this one person there has been a hand full of people who stated they will not go there now.

Yea and those ppl are no where near it and prolly wouldnt have gone anyway. Im not saying its bad for him to tell others but I think ppl that kno nothing of the shop and only this writing shouldnt jump to conclusions right away. Lets see the outcome then judge it, NO company has a perfect record. And with a heading like butchers a TC ur blowing it up a little much, dont u think.

I never said I agreed with their actions if you read, Im just saying some ppl are taking it further than it need to be. Thats it. Overall I still feel Ptuning is a great company and that no company, NONE is perfect. I kno drax and I hope this all gets fixed. Im not trying to take sides or anything

All Im a say is every company runs into its bad apple and unfortunatly it had to be a fellow TC owner, Hopefully this gets resolved very soon( I know its been goin on for a while I kno that, Drax told me a while bak) and that ppl dont think that because of this one incident that ptuning is a shady company and their products are shaddy also. Ive spoken with them and gone to the shop plenty of time and they have always been extrememly helpful and their customer service, superb (besides this time).I dont wanna start a argument on Drax's thread. I feel bad for him, I do. Best of luck to you drax, and see ya at the weekly meets...if you make it out . I'll end it at that

Drax, who all from PTuning is involved right now? Are you dealing with the install tech, the front office, the manager or the owner? If you haven't pushed it to the owner yet I'd keep working up the chain, I know it's a business and they're there to make money but I would think that $3200 would be a laughable expense to them to keep a customer and good press. If you're just dealing with the tech, maybe he's trying to hide this from management.

I love their tune work but do have to wonder sometimes on their QA. Of the three times I've been there, the first time they forgot to re-install my tail silencer, I didn't get out of the parking lot before I noticed it was missing, got it from them and put it back on myself. The third time I was there they had removed the engine cover and forgot to put it back on, ended up mailing it back to me.

Good luck with the car, hopefully this won't have to go to court, nobody but the lawyers really wins then.

i agree with moises, no shop is perfect. but ptuning did work on alot of tc's and alot of ppl are happy with them. i dunno if uve ever been in their garage, but about 75%of the cars are tc's. and i havent seen anyone complain. no ones perfect, just hope everything gets settled out though

Ouch man, wouldn't go that far, they haven't had the owner screw over their business partners, skip town and leave people's cars locked in a garage they don't have a key to. Also, PTuning does a lot of work for the non-Scion community STi's, EVO's, euro sports cars so if they do decide to not change their position they won't go under from lack of Scion business. Also, here in the DC area we're kind of at a loss for other speed shops to go to for a decent tune, I can count the number of shops within 3 hours that have a decent tune on one hand. Sorry for Drax but threat of loss of business won't get much leverage, legal action or intervention from the Scion dealership are the biggest sticks he has right now to poke them with unless he can sway their management. Why hasn't PTuning chimed in on this thread?
