So i bought a s2k antenna from this little kid two weeks back, he claimed he shipped it the day after but i still haven't received it today (6/6). I sent him a PM to follow up on it to see where it is since i have not received it. He replies saying i should have already gotten it three days ago (as of 6/6). I replied saying i have not received anything and if he could follow up with PO or give a refund.

I was a shipping manager for a mail order auto company for 4 years and i know for a fact it is the shipper's responsibility unless otherwise agreed upon by shipper & recipient. If not the shipper should offer a replacement part or refund to recipient for non-receipt of part. So i told him this is unacceptable that the only way i would get a refund IF the PO offers him a refund. From experience that may take months to "process" and track. Why am i screwed out of $12, he should refund me and deal with the PO since he was the one that sent it.

This was his response to my reply. I guess by having an EVO X he is now SOOO much better then the rest of us. When i had the TLS which is 10x better then his EVO, i never considered myself better then any other human over the car. I wasn't going to get into a ____ing match with some little no class 19 year old kid over $12. So now he'll deal with paypal over it.

i doubt we will see him in his forum ever again since he is too good for scion owners but i suggest not buying any of his used stuff to save yourself this type of backlash.

 

Here are the things you sent me. You did not even suggest that I go to the post office to file a claim. All you wanted was your money back. I kindly said all I can do is file a claim with the post office and see what happens. Then you started being a *****. You just assumed that the package was definitely lost and that the post office wouldn't refund me. Why do you assume the worst? Because now I don't even want to deal with you. You act like I'm shipping a $2500 clutch kit and it hasn't arrived yet. Chill out. Why is it my fault that the post office lost a package? There is proof that I sent it. You sent payment last Tuesday. That is NOT two weeks. I don't know what calendar you're looking at.

Just admit that you never "simply asked" me to look into it. It's not that hard. You never asked me to file a claim. All you cared about was getting your money back. You didn't even ask me for a receipt! You sent me 3 messages before I could even respond to the first. You were so desperate to get that $12 back for some reason.

did you try checking the post office? i bought stuff from members off of this site before and had the same problem with not receiving any packages. i tried tracking it but there was no history, so i ended up going to my local post office and they had it there

 

i hadn't thought about it too much since i was annoyed when he lashed at me.
i guess i can give it a try, even though at this point i don't even care for it much.
