I had ordered this kit about 7-8 months ago,

I recently started having problems getting the bulbs to ignite when i switch the lights on..

after initial inspection it turns out that the relay in the waterproof kit i was sent has turned to a ball of rust.

This is with electrical tape wrapped on it anyway, because i was fearful from the start.

All i have to say is that its a crap-shoot wondering if my lights will even turn on now, its a guessing game

and it sucks

^i saw for myself!

it really didnt look good, very funny how they advertise that the kit is waterproof, and then something that is covered in tape and remains under the hood still rusts... hmmmmm

yeah the HID kit is waterproof, not the harness loll, he said nothing about the relay being water proof, and most people understand relays and wiring need to not get wet lol, get a new one and wrap it in a ballon with electrical tape around the ballon

I agree. If you look on the website under the harness picture in red print it says relay not waterproof.

You can always put the harness in a bag and tie it up with tape.

I just installed my HID kit and I just wanted to know if I should adjust my headlight so that it points more downward so that I don't get pulled over for blinding a cop. If so how would I do that? I know theres a screw but no screw driver would fit in there.

Maybe I was turning the wrong screw. I have a 07 Tc I was refering to the screw on top of the headlights. Is that it or is it the one located all the way inside?

it could have rusted up because of the electrical tape. the tape itself could have trapped the moisture in there longer than if you would have let it dry off exposed.

hey guys. sorry, been super busy with trips to CA to get you guys COOL stuff in the future.

ok- about the relays, yes, they are not waterproof and like any other piece of electronics, they should be kept away from the elements. i have a few spare relays sitting around here so if you want a new one, just paypal $5 to sales@mobilehid.com to cover the cost of 2-3 day priority mail shipping and I'll send one out.

equinox - sorry bud, your new harness is going out tomorrow

walterego - sent you a PM
