Hey cliff got a question for you, I installed my HID's like 2 years ago.. your brand... Recently my passenger side bulb flickers, can the ballast be going or the bulb going.. the last thing i want happening is attraction john-q-law.

^you check the relay? after that try switching the bulbs to see if it still happens, if its still flickering on same side then its ballast if other side then its bulb

ragingbull - let's check 2 things.

1) Please make sure the relay that is on your wire harness doesn't have any corrosion. To check - just pull it off and look at the prongs, if you see anything other than nice clean metal, you might just need a new relay.

2) Please swap the bulbs from side to side and see if the problem follows the bulb. if it does, then most likely it's a bulb. if not, then it could be a ballast issue. Either way though, you're covered under warranty so no biggie man.

Please keep me posted on what happens.

alright.. this is what i found.. first i checked the relay.. yes it was corroded.. i replaced with a new one and cleaned the contacts on the connector.. the passenger bulb still flickered.. swapped the bulb with a 9006 HID i had from my old set of headlamps.. left it on for 10 minutes.. bulb didnt' flicker.. connected the H1 bulb back in (the one in question) and it took forever to light up, and it flickered constantly..

so i think i just need a new bulb, ballast is fine... the H1 bulbs that i had in were purchased back in april/ may i think...

let me know what next Cliff... thanks for the run down on what to check.

So these come with wiring harness and all right? I read 2 different things on your front page so not so sure. Guess I am just a slow reader. LOL. Let me know as I only have 170 bucks in my account so I wouldnt be able to buy these if they dont have everything that is needed.
