Hah, I hope she has some sort of projector housing in the headlight, because HIDs are terrible if you just stick it into a stock reflector housing.

By the way, if anyone is interested, I got some night shots of my kit posted: (It's FOGGY tonight)

Unfortunately it will probably be two weeks from now or when ever I get my car back from the body shop before I order them.

Cliff-Hey just wanted to let you know i just received my HID's and yea they are freakin sweet. I did as the instructions said and tested them before i install them and everything worked excellent.

Few questions:
1. The box i received said H4 all over it even though i ordered H11? I did test fit all the wiring and everything hooked and worked nice. Just concerned if i would have a problem.

2. On the wire that connects from the stock headlamp wiring harness to the digital ballast, is there a way a new could be modify because there isnt a lock in clasp like on the other end for the ballast plug? Just to give some extra added secruity to prevent it from slipping off or have not had any problems with the.

3. I meant to ask you before hand but these bulbs arent going to melt the stock lowbeam projector or headlamp assembly, its just that these bulbs do get hot? Have you had any one have headlamps melting because of that or do they not get anywhere near hot enough to do that.

thanks Cliff

Travis - I've never heard of anyone's headlamp melting from HIDs. I ran the 9006 kit for almost 2 years w/ no major problems. Now I'm running the same ballasts with H11 bulbs.

I believe that xenon gas arc is more efficient at the same wattage rating as halogen. Xenon therefore puts out more light at 35 watts than halogen at 55 watts. Xenon looses less energy in the form of heat also. Your housing will be safer from melting with xenon than with equivalent halogen.
