Yea you shouldn't see any police action with them. you are correct. 4300 is "pure white" and 5000k has a slight tint but its almost unnoticeable at a distance. 5K IMO is the way to go. To me 4300 and 5000 are close. seems to me that 5k is just brighter to the eye visibly than 4300k. both are great though.

 

Cliff, just put my order in for a set of H11 5K. cant wait to plug those bad boys in. How long does it usually take for shipping, i no with the holiday weekend everything will be delayed.

I am still looking for a good LED for my headlights so they match the 5000k headlights. But yeah, working from home for a while so these will be installed on my lunch break. I am soo ready for this!

 

I've been rocking some blue LEDs in my headlights for 3 years now. Surprisingly they haven't burned out yet.

 

Who did you buy yours from? I was looking around for someone that made them for headlights but didn't find anyone. I was told using ones not made for headlights makes them burn out faster.

why so many different pics?

 

I have a set of Pilot leds in my housings. I've never had an issue with them and no burn marks. 3 years strong. You can find them at pepboys, advance auto / auto zone, etc or online. I ran a set from superbrightleds.com before which look exactly like these pilot ones but theirs burned within days so i picked up these pilot ones to hold me over until i found others but these never died so i said screw it and kept them. They look nice, are holding up well, are bright at night and only cost me 5bucks for the set. they sell them in many colors.

 

Looks like I am going to pep boys. Thanks man. I love that place anyway; I was looking for a reason to go there.

 

^lol. the box says PILOT right on them. I never thought they would last this long.....but they have. Seems they'll live longer than me. lol.
