Waiting
Anyone have a really good quality photo of the H11 based HID from MobileHID?
Will post my cheapo Xenonlink ones that I had to JB weld. I can't get a photo today due to massive amounts of dust blowing around and I don't want to expose the inside of my projector housings to the dust.

So does anyone have a similar picture of the H11 style provided by MobileHID?

What do you want to know about that H11 kit? I looks just like the halogen H11 but longer. My bulb looked thinner than the one you posted.

I had to use JB weld around the base where the lugs are to lock into the stock projector '08. I am thinking I may have to give the JB weld a shot over the white adhesive shown at the base of the annode cathode glass tube, my beams "flutter" when I go over bumps. I am hoping that MobileHID have a better "base" solution for their H11 style.

I have had mine in for a month or two and have not had any problems with them fluttering or anything.

I have (unfortunately) hit some pot holes hard and haven't notice anything. But I didn't think that anything like you described would happen so I haven't been looking for it. I will see if I can get you a shot of the bulb for you.

The other thing is that it seemed like to me that the whole base (from where the wires go in to where the bulb starts) was molded to the glass. Even the tabs were made out of the same material. Where it looks like your bulb is comprised of a few different pieces.

Yes, it is multiple pieces. Almost if the manufacturer just broke a standard H11 bulb up and glued a xenon tube to the base. I am hoping I can find a little higher quality elsewhere.

Well here are a few pics I took today of my H11 5000K HID kit from Mobile HID.

And a shot from the back side of the bulb.

I hope this helps.

Thank you so much. Those look like a 100 percent better quality than what I currently have. Now if Cliff would just offer an outstanding deal like "Black Friday" that I missed. I would be set.

Does it use the D2 style xenon bulbs?
Just order D2S or D2R, whichever it takes http://www.mobilehid.com/products.htm#hidbulbs

eltaco - eeeeeek man, what happened to that H11 bulb you posted?

akrylic09 - you'll probably need a pair of d2r 6k bulbs, pm me and i'll create a special order form for you so you don't have to pay the full price on the site.

thanks all.

Cliff, I am a victim of sub-standard HID kits. I am in desperate need of a stylish new digital ballast H11 kit.

Patiently Waiting for the Sale.
Any Hint on when?
I'm guessing towards the End of the Month?
