eboardracer - for the most visible light output, you'll want the 4300k. a good medium between style (blue) and brightness would be a 6k.

Also, the wire harness will not melt your stock wiring nor will the light bulb melt your housing.

Thanks!

Daneisthegreatest - sounds good man. Lemme know if your kit has the high beam halogens and if it does, I'll wire up the harness so it'll work for your application.

Thanks.

Cliffud, I just got a new '08 xB and wanted some HIDs. I don't want anything too blue. Just something a bit brighter with maybe a hint of blue.

1. What model do you recommend I get from you?

2. How difficult is the installation?

thanks!

Dawaves, congrats on the new ride man.

You'll want to pick up one of my H11 kits in a 8k color temp. The installation is pretty easy and straightforward. If you look under your fenders, you'll see some sheet metal close to the fender that has some holes that you can bolt the ballast brackets to. It's REALLY easy.

Cliffud,

For the 8k ones, won't they be too blue?...all the pictures I see seem to be blue. I was thinking the 4300k or the 6k range. What do you think?

Thanks man!

dawaves - You're right IF you had a reflector housing.

The 08 xB has a projector housing so the 6k looks white and the 8k looks like it has a tint of blue. For the stock look, I'd go with the 4300k which will have no traces of blue and it will look very good for driving in the rain. the higher color temps don't look that good in the rain.

Ok got it. Thanks for that heads up.

After watching MalibuRapper's vids on youtube on the HID's he installed, plus the fact that I wanted a hint of blue color, I'm gonna go w/ the same: 6K.

I'll be ordering in 2 weeks when I get my paycheck.

You da man Cliffud! thanks!
