i need some clarification.

First off I'm looking to put this on a Yamaha R6.

Stock Lighting is H4 bulbs.

I want to have Hi/Lo capabilities.

Now in order to achieve that i need a bi-xenon kit, so I may have Hi/Lo.

Now you're saying that I need 4 ballasts to run the bi-xenon kits...

How does one bulb run 2 ballasts? How would 4 ballasts be used on 2 bulbs?

t_urbo- H7, 9006, 9005, H11, H3, H1, H4, etc...

joluis- I *think* I shipped it off- I did ship one off to Houston.

sensez- H4 kits come in various types. some have hid low with a halogen high, some have hid low and the bulb moves to the high beam location when you hit your highs, and the dual-elements have HID low and HID high. the dual-element kits have a dedicated hid bulb for the low beam and a dedicated bulb for the high beam. the dual-element setup requires 4 ballasts, one for each HID element.

Hope that clears it up.

BTW- i'll post up pics of some sweet sweet scions from SEMA when I get a chance. I was definitely impressed with what I saw today.

sorry- forgot to mention that I don't carry the H4 kits with the moving bulb due to higher rates of failure.

Hey Mike, thanks for chiming in. I haven't had a chance to post up any pics yet since it's a pain to get pics off my SD card but I'll get them up soon.

In addition to the color temps on the site, I happened to have 3k, and a really really blue color that is darker than the 12k. It's too blue to drive w/o fear of getting pulled over.

sema update- you guys won't believe what they setup in an xD.

Here's a hint- stuffed animals + state fair + xD... I'll post pics later today. I'm waiting in line for the IS-F test drive exhibition. woooo hooooo. hopefully I won't officially be the first person to crash the new IS-F. hahaha.

agentorunge- I have both types, soft yellow and the gold yellow. the 9006 3k kit on the site is the gold yellow but I can send out the soft ones if you prefer, just send me a separate email and let me know.

thanks.

Since the Wiring Harness is hooked to your battery... does it continuously draw power from the battery?

No, it only draws power when the relay is triggered by your factory harness...

in other words it just draws power when you turn the headlights on.
