dugzilla- hahaha- i totally thought of that when i packed up the box today. I was like - "i wonder if the bmw guy is going to really use these strobes... or - maybe he won't even know about them??" lol
cory - you can place them in your headlight housings if you'd like. the hole will have to be a 1/2 inch in diameter to fit the base of the strobe. OR - you could just put them in your high beams because the 9005 high beam hole is roughly the same size and when you go to a show, just hit your high beams and they'll blink.

BTW - I get a lot of questions on where to mount the ballasts for the tC so since I was doing an install the other day, I thought I'd take some pics too - here's an 08 tC installation. SUPER easy!

First off, thanks for the great sale price Santa. $140 is a sweet price no one can complain about it. On that note, I installed my 5000K kit on my 08 xb last night. Everything went smoothly, although I wish the passenger side harness was about 12" longer. Anyways, if I ordered a 3000K kit for my fogs, would I need a longer harness kit or would it be the same length as the ones for the headlights?
