FYI:
I need to head to Seattle for work until Wednesday the 2nd of Jan. And like the "Off to SEMA Sale", all kits ordered won't ship until I get back.
That being the case, I've extended the $140 price until next Wednesday!!

Have a great New Years everyone, please stay safe, lots of crazies out there...

Yo people...Im a noob at stuff like instalation, so I might need help on something as simple as this...
Connecting to the battery... can someone show me pics? I've tried 1 way so far, and my bulbs arent firing up. I connected the wires to the spot where you loosen the terminals... but, as for the positive terminal... there's 2, one to tighten it and another connected to the electric's of the car...
1) do I hook it up the positive to the bolt on the terminal or...
2) do I hook it up on the other terminal?
Other than that, if nothing works, then, I might have a busted relay orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Ballasts.. EEEK!! Im waiting on CLIFFs replies, but he apparently is busy this week hehe. So I guess I will have to rely on my fellow scionlife-ians.
THANKS a mil folks.

Here's how I did it. You take the cap off the red terminal (+). Theres a bolt on the top part of it. Not the bolt that tightens the terminal. but the other one with all the factory wiring. I'd take pics but its midnight so U wouldn't see anything. You should see it fine. Loosen that with a 12mm wrench, socket wrench w.e you chose. Slip the Red ring terminal from the Relay kit under the washer, and re tighten that sucker.
The black wire will go to the negative ring terminal. That's the one that isn't covered. You can undo the tightening bolt a little and slip the ring terminal in there. Plug one end of the relay to ur headlight plug thingy and then the other two ends into the ballasts correctly. Make sure they click into place. Plug the ballasts into the bulbs and U should be good to go. Btw. One OEM headlight plug won't be used.
That's how it is on my tC. Shouldn't be much different on the XB.

Here I took some pics anyway
Positive: Yea yea I know. I got a ton of ____ hooked up to my battery. I gotta clean up all the wires one of these days.

Negative:

Couldn't get a shot of where the OEM plug connects into the Relay. Its dark and I couldn't find it. But I took a pic of the passenger side ballast. The bit thats circled and goes along with the wire is that really long Ballast plug. The other side is the same deal the wire is just shorter.

Thanks for the pics...
I did that, and no FIRE...ahhhhhhh man... What to do people? I guess I have to wait up on Clff now.
Let me tell you problem 2) The Relay.
SO I Tested it on an Amp-Tester. The Circuits that are closed work fine, I think they're numbered 85 and 86. But I tested 87 and 30 and they're open circuits, but, nothing came out of the Amp-Tester. Im guessing since they're open they wouldn't conduct...or something... im not electrician... so yeah. Maybe that relay is broke.
I just hope, its not the ballasts..

if you want. You can directly plug the ballasts into the OEM plugs just to test out the ballasts. Shouldn't fry the harness if you only use it once. If they work you know its the Relay kit. if they don't its either the ballasts or the bulbs.
I know that its for a fact that hid kits affect radio reception, but has anyone found good alternatives to aftermarket antenna applications or perhaps another remedy to re-gain radio reception?
I kinda miss not being able to listen to my favorite stations at night...
THANKS hopefully we can all help each other out on this, love the kit by the way.
I have the 5k one.. looks better than a lexus ;-)

Danny. that happened to me when I installed my subs. Tried starting it up. All the lights on the dash lite up, car was a no go. I thought I messed up my car. Decided to recheck all the connections. After I rechecked all the connections (didn't do much really, Just disconnected and reconnected my wires) My car started up no problem. no lights on the dash no nothing, worked perfectly. Never had a problem since then.
Happy B-Day bB btw.

I really think something is up with the wiring...
I got a flicker, but I think I accidentally touched 2 wires or something.
Um, The relay isnt the problem, I did purchase one for liek 10 bucks... and no give.
So something is up with this wiring. :T
