Hi Guys-

Kev, the extra screws and fuses are included just in case you need them to mount the ballasts brackets. The fuses are spares just in case you accidentally touch the power wire on something and blow it.

Pirranha- I'm not too familiar with the Halo HID kit but if you take some pics of how the ballast connects to your car, I can tell you if it'll fit. If it doesn't look like it'll fit, I have extra 9006 connectors that I can throw in so you can make it fit nicely.

You can order a wiring harness here: http://www.mobilehid.com/scionlife.htm

Thanks!

Clifford

Hi Guys-

Just an FYI, all kits ordered in the past 24 hours have shipped!

SilverTC06- your kit is in the mail already! It should be there sometime Monday or Tuesday.

Flint scion tc - below is a pic of the 12k on top and pink on the bottom. If you want something even MORE blue than the 12k, lemme know. I have a very small quantity of darker blue colors available for the 9006

If you're interested in the 12k, just paypal $170 to sales@mobilehid.com and note the 12k in the "notes" section.

Thanks all!

Clifford

quick question. Do I need 3m adhesive badages or some kind of super duty velcro to mount the ballast? Thanks in advance!

Hey Kev,

You should be able to use the ballast brackets included in the kit to secure the ballasts somewhere in your engine bay. If you haven't found the ballast brackets, look under the tray that held the bulbs/ballasts/wires. You'll find the brackets below.

Thanks!

omg i just found the brackets, my girlfriend was the first to open the box and she misplaced the brackets. She didn't even know it was below the tray. And I was wondering how to mount them? haha luckily they were in my car and not the trash! girls. haha gotta love'um.

Thanks Cliff!

Hey Kevin - you're welcome.

FYI to people that ordered in the past 24 hours - your kits have shipped.

Who's interested in doing some projector retrofits?

Hawgs74, cool man.

Just so you can check out the cutoff - here are some photos I took from testing.

I've been doing a lot of testing and here's what I have so far... they work with a standard H1 HID kit (which are still $170 shipped by the way).

Lightened image so you can see what's beyond the light...

Same pic but untouched to show the great cutoff line...

Some of the projectors I've been testing... 4 different types in all.

Close up shot - great quality pieces...

Lining up a bunch of samples... great products but I didn't like the open housing.

Fronts of the same projectors...

Some notes from my testing... these projectors give some slightly uneven patterns below the cutoff line. it's not like it's a huge deal because they throw out a TON of light but I just want to be honest.

silvertc06 - glad you like the kit! let's see some pics!

FYI - some members have been asking about the projectors that I'm done using for my tests...

I'm giving them away since they're not doing anything sitting in the box. The projectors with the black frame are $20 shipped each and they take an H1 bulb. I believe I have 9 left. I took one apart.

Also, all kits ordered have shipped.

Thanks.

Do you have 5000k in 9006? I think that is the size for the projectors in an xB.

cadon69- yep, got the 9006 in 5k in stock. If you're interested, you can order on http://www.mobilehid.com/scionlife.htm

Projectors on an xB look REALLY nice. go back a few pages where I posted the xB install I did- it turned out REALLY well with the projector housings.

bluaeon - ok sounds good - just paypal $40 to sales@mobilehid.com and I'll get two of them shipped out to you asap.

Thanks guys.
