the ANSWER to all your car care needs
ive been in the car detailing industry for 8 years now, ive worked on just about any type of mode or transportation....boats planes big rigs sports car family cars trucks motor cycles you get the point.
I run a car deatiling shop out of my house when im not at work. If you scion lifers have any ?s about will this hurt the paint or how do i get this mystery sticky stuff off or the effective way to clay bar or polish, wax, buff a car, brighten up the paint, or just general info knowledge of cleaning a car just hit me up. If i dont know the answer ill find someone who does.

Hey man-
Thought you would know what the hell this sound is. Starting today when I press in the clutch it makes a squealing noise and also when I depress it. With the window down, it sounds like its right under the tire. The clutch grabs pretty well and doesn't look like to be any slippage when engaging/disengaging. What could this be? Thanks.

I'm not hermo but these are simple enough questions.
If you can get a hold of Claymagic I would go with that. Claymagic is more aggressive than Mother's and much more than Meguiar's but not aggressive enough to cause marring.
Unless you want to polish your car, the only wax that'll do anything significant for your car is a cleaner wax which, if you stick to over the counter products, is mostly cleaner waxes anyway (Meg's and Mother's Cleaner Waxes have strong cleaners in them but just about all of Meg's waxes, including Gold Class and NXT contain mild cleaners; which is plenty if you're waxing after claying) I would stay away from Zymol's cleaner wax because for one, it's a Turtle Wax formulation and two, it uses abrasive rather than chemical cleaners. If you want to ramp up the shine on your car, you could try spit shining with Turtle Wax Platinum Paste Wax (you probably can't do it with ICE or NXT because those two are synthetic "waxes" so you'd need to allow their active polymers to cure before you can legitimately add another layer.Adding a premature layer of NXT or ICE won't look as good and may hamper durability.)
As far as shampoos go, for over the counter products I like Turtle Wax's Platinum shampoo. It's fairly gentle for an OTC shampoo so it won't strip away your wax layer like Armor-All soap would. People like Gold Class and Mother's California Gold. I hear that CG is a little harsh. But these three are good and what I would go with in a pinch (I currently use Pinnacle Body Work Shampoo.) They all clean fairly well and offer really good lubricity, which is the whole point of a car shampoo.
