Ok Im posting this here cause I dont know if this will also happen to the xbs. If I chose the wrong forums please move this post to the correct one.


A while back I had a problem with my engine light coming on:http://www.teamscioneyed.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=391

I found out that I had a bad cylinder. At first I thought it was cause I had red lined it on so many races but that turned out not to be the case. My service advisor said that my cylinder was shaped wrong (oval instead of circle) and said it wasnt my fault. He continued to say that since I was the first one in the country to have this problem toyota is going to go look to see if any of the other scions made in the same period as mine have the same problem. So in a way I guess I might of helped toyota by driving my lil xa the way I did. But I will no longer drive like that. So I guess what im trying to say is if your check engine light comes on make sure to get it checked before your warranty is up and before it gets any worse.

My light came back on today and getting it rechecked also on the way home my head lights just turned off on me just as i switch back down to my low beams. any one have that happen to them?
