Default CHIP!!!

Washed and waxed my car today, found a chip on the hood right above the grill. Pretty small, but it went strait to the metal. I thought i could get the dealership to fix since i havent had it two weeks, but of course they pulled that rock on the highway BS. What is the best thing i can do about this without spending a massive amount $$$?

Same here. You'd think if it went through the friggin' primer coat, something's up with the paint.

But the dealership doesn't see it that way.

I ended up getting my hood and front bumper repainted by a bodyshop.

Something you may want to consider down the road. For now though, try touch up paint on a toothpick. And as mentioned, you'll be better off getting the touch-up paint custom mixed instead of buying the dealer's paint.
