Default NXT Tech Protect = NXT Cockpit Shine

I have been looking everywhere for Meguiars NXT Tech Protect interior protectant. Almost every department store and autoparts store in my area carries the NXT product line, but no Tech Protect. Well, last night I was at Wal-Mart so I decided to check their car care section again "just in case". Still no Tech Protect, BUT...I did see this stuff called Meguiars NXT Cockpit Shine. I'm like....huh? I've been on the Meguiars website, and there is no mention of this product anywhere. So I read the bottle, and it looks as if it would do the same thing. There's a toll-free number on the bottle, so I used my cell and called it from right there in the store. The guy who answered at Meguiars told me that NXT Cockpit Shine and NXT Tech Protect are THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT! Apparently, the stuff wasn't selling very well with the Cockpit Shine label so they simply re-named it to Tech Protect. I bought it and it works great. It even smells good. Just FYI.

Yeah, they change their names around a lot.
In Canada they have the same products, but they are all
named differently for that market.
Interesting.

i bought the NXT Tech Protect (24oz @ $7.99) this week, and I can tell you that it is **the bomb**---it made the plastic interior sections of my xB dark/shiney **but without** the slippery feel of Armorall, etal... none at all!!!

It has completely covered up the area near one of my rear door handles (where I had discolored the area due to using 99% isopropyl alcohol instead of the milder 70% in cleaning the area for some other thing)

Hightly recommended!
