Default Rain

I just drove home in the pouring rain. I pulled my car in the garage and of course it is covered with water. I took my micro towel and dried it off. It took just a few minutes. Am I crazy for doing this? Does anyone else do this?

Seems a little overboard to me... but it's your car. If it makes you feel better, go right ahead.

I don't have any garage at all, so it would be a bit futile of me to bother wiping after going through rain.

oh no, no offense but yes

Heh, you shouldn't wipe the car when its dirty. Even if it doesn't look dirty... if you haven't washed it, it is . It'll cause swirls.

You can use a leafblower though... no problem

I do that too. Letting the water sit and dry off itself or waiting for it to evaporate tends to leave water spots. I HATE water spots!

Its all up to the owner though.

A leaf blower would work too. Didn't think of that! duh. Thanks for that tip ^

Yup, there might be lots of dirt and tiny rocks that were kicked up onto the car from puddles and such - which you'll be rubbing against the paint with the towel.

If you must, blast the car with the garden hose first. Neighbors might look at you all weird though.

Oh and also... the leafblower thing doesn't work too well if there's no wax or sealant on the paint (or I suppose it'd work if its just been polished as well) .
