Default Timing chain tensioner and chain guides replacement?

My owner's manual says nothing about when to change out these wear and tear components. I have 130k miles and I was curious when to change these out.

There isn't a set mileage/time interval for timing chain/guides/tensioner. These components are normally replaced only if issues directly related to them arise, or if they are easily accessible while performing another repair (ie: head gasket).

Yeah, this is a lifetime part really. It should withstand the car far beyond the motor. If you are at 6500rpms all the time, they are going to wear rather quickly and might need replacing, but if you are driving normal, with some spirited driving in there, these components will last forever. High rpms is really what wears these things out. It's the tension being put on it. But these things are good for 10,000rpms anyways before they break break. So you're 6500 will just wear it out, but cruising does zero wear.
