Default Tire advice

I don't know too much about cars. Just FYI...

But I need new tires pretty badly and it's about to be rainy season. I just want to know what the general advice is with tires and tire prices. Does more expensive tires usually mean longer lasting? It's only been about 15,000 miles and the cheap Toyo tires I bought are very worn down. What would be good? Currently have my eye on some eagle F1 this time, there seems to be a lot of eagle F1s though.

From my own personal experience, I would have to recommend the general gmax as03's, and the kumho ecsta 4x. Both are amazing in wet, snow and dry, as well as getting ridiculous miles out of the tires.
