Default water leaks on rear doors. ANYONE ELSE?

:D I got my new Box a week ago...... Thunder grey woohoo love it... putting a ton of miles on it...

so Friday night it rains so hard IM like is noah coming back!

I actually work at a Toyota Store and when i leave Sat night i reach under my Drivers seat...... :?: What doI find

WATER, not a little My carpet is soaked!

So I vacuum it out. Being the end ofthe month i wait till today to bring it into service when I go to work.

We find a Puddle under the carpeted. WTF I mean the car is a week old.

so we do the water test. Two leaks at the door gasket. Enough water in the car that we have to open the floor plugs.

Has anyone else have this problem?

make sure you check the seals around your rear doors. If damaged reseal em. You should be good to go. My fastiva had that prob too.

my roof leaked pretty bad when I first bought it...

needed a torrential downpour for it to happen and it took forever to locate the problem. We thought the windshield needed to be resealed. Turns out there was a hole in the roof underneat the rubber strip that runs the length of the car. If I went through a carwash or it was a light rain there was no problems. If it was a huge storm I'd have so much water in it that the A pillar cover would overflow onto the passenger. Crazy stuff.

needless to say it was easy to fix once we isolated the problem. Also, I've never heard of another xB having this problem.

No leaks here, yet anyways. I did a test on my box today, dumped a few 10 gallon buckets of water all over the roof and sides and completely flooded the exteriror of the car, but not a drop of water got inside.

HAd the door gasket replaced and not a drop more turned out to be a kink in the gasket enough to allowthe water to enter
