Last time I checked, all maintenance is free within the warranty period.

ive had numerous PM conversations with pete, hes an awesome guy with great taste, helped me with valve cover painting, and it came out awesome

we ran into each other on i95 one time, said hello and sped off!! lol

definitely SL would not be what it is without pete!!

 

I was in the auto business for a number of years... you do not want to own any recent German car after the warranty expires. They make some of the most comfortable, best handling cars, with great engines, but their electrical systems seem to be on par with the old Lucas electrical from England. Anybody who is as old as dirt will know what I'm talking about.

 

...i'm not as old as dirt but....yeah...

 

Do NOT get me started on Lucas, Lord of Darkness - the three MG's I had (one as a parts car) are all it took to convince me to NEVER AGAIN buy a British car... (1964 MG 1100 Sport Sedans. Bought one, loved the car, but it was a maintenance disaster - figured it was just that particular car - ditched it, got another, found they were ALL like that. Bought a third to keep number two running. Sold the pair of them to Sid in '68, $250 for the pair. Sid never spoke to me again...)

Had a '67 MGB... Lucas electrical & Solex carbs SUCK! I feel your pain Tomas.

Fortunately I learned my lesson on MG #1.

I work for BMW and I don't really like the 335i that much at all. I do however like the 135i but the 335i looks so plain.

 

135i is too small. wait till you see the debut of my car. i have a ton of parts sitting here waiting to go on in the spring
