Hmmm. I stand by my first response. No striking, slapping, or shoving. Shaking- that's ok.

 

The charlie horse is on the side of the thigh between the two major muscle groups. I used to hit my sister there when she'd punch me. It makes their leg spasm and hurts real bad for a few seconds (like hitting your funny bone) but does no real damage as long as you don't hit hard enough to bruise.

As for your question. i think that it is wrong to hit a girl, unless she is playing physical sports with the "boys." Being a lite weight wrestler i had to wrestler a few girls before...I treated them like any other wrestler on the mat. Once they stepped on the mat then they were a wrestler regardless of gender.

You know, I keep reading in this thread "its never ok to hit a girl".

When exactly did it become ok to hit a guy? Someone give a logical reason why its ok for anyone to invade someone elses space in a non-life threatening situation.

Back in 1999 my girlfriend was constantly accusing me of cheating on her. So one day I got fed up with her accusations and told her she was a complete wack job and it was no wonder why her family was so dysfunctional. Her answer to my remark was a powerful slap that I could have sworn was heard around the world. I was shocked and couldnt believe it when it happened because I didnt think she had it in her. My first instinct was to slap her a$$ back, but I didn't. Was it because I was raised with some prehistoric belief that women are so frail and deserve the pity of the almighty man....HELL NO....I didn't hit her back because (1) I knew she would call the cops and I didnt feel like going to county lockdown and (2)because I knew hooking up with her best friend the next day was going to be more damaging than any slap I could have layed on here.

Now, even though I understood the reasoning in her hitting me, did that make it right? Are women somehow "allowed" to act irrationally and physically in stressful situations, while men are not? If so, why exactly is that? Are women in this day and age really ok with all you mama's boys showing pity on them for being weak and powerless? That is what it is you know......straight up pity

If I were a girl I would be ____ed at the thought of such a double standard. Such an idea sets you back 100 years when you were completely subservient to men.

Nope. Don't hit 'em back. If my old lady slapped me as a result of an argument or somethin' I'd just "accidently" wash one of her favorite garments improperly.

No guarantees in life my friend. Chicks do crazy snit when emotions are high and there's a possible revenge motive. She could have very easily hit her head on the door or fridge or whatever. Then when the cops get there, "look what he did to me!" It doesn't matter what could or could not later on be proven in court, he'd have gone to jail for the strip search, deloussing, and then be tossed in with the animals in lockup for a night.

 

This is idiotic. Its hard to believe you would think that.
