HELP!!...

My Tub is clogged up!..I tried Drain-o already....

It didnt work w/ a Damn!...lol

Any Brand Drain UnClogger suggust????.....
or other Methods?

Tubs are a bummer. You should have a clean out like a round metal piece above the drain and below the water faucet. You can remove that and try to see what you can pull out. Also, your tub drain should be able to be unscrewed. Take the drain stopper off and then you can get some longnose pliers and unscrew the drain piece itself. You probably have a lot of hair under there. You can try a plunger, but you need to stop up the overflow so that air can not escape. Try some boiling water if you can get the other water out of the tub. Sinks are certainly a lot easier to clear than tubs............good luck

 

Before you dismantle your entire bathroom ... if drano didn't work, and they have some nasty ones for clogged drains, try a plunger, it will get nasty, but at least you can clear the bigger chunks ..

There is a pressurized can that works real well. It shook my whole tub with pressure. Hasn't backed up since.

 

I 2nd the plunger idea...I tried it one day for $hits and giggles.. and low and behold it worked like a charm... I was amazed..but have used it ever since..

 

^that's what i do to fix mine before i use drano. i use the plunger then run warm water and then drano after.

 

Red Devil Lye Don't used much, and only use it if there is no standing water in the tub. I'd say pour in about a quarter of a cup. And it will eat thru cast iron pipes if you don't run a lot of water after the pipe opens.

 

Just get some WD-40 and a lighter. That should work pretty good. Some hair can withstand caustics, but everything burns!

Be careful using a plunger if you've already put Drain cleaner in it. Can be hazardous to the eyes, etc...

Go buy a snake at the hardware store and do it right...

theres some thing at hardware stores that uses the co2 cartrigdes.... works really well... it'll clear up the clog... or bust open the pipes due to excessive preasure.... either way.. your tub will drain after :D
