no they cant scion jon. well they can, just not in the usa yet. lol. the dual shock 3s are going to be officially released in the us about march. and you cant just turn them on

 

well what kind of hdmi cable do you have? if you got monster some of the cables don't work with the ps3? at least thats what the guy from best buy told me but i have a monster cable its the 600 one. i don't know about the 800 or 1000.

 

thats wierd cause when i play motor storm my control vibrates, i can set it to use the sux axis and i can set it to vibrate so...

 

To my knowledge the controllers with the PS3 do not have vibration on it due to a legal issue between Sony and another company claiming that their vibration patent/technology was being used/infringed upon by Sony.The Sixaxis Dualshock 3 out in Japan right now has rumble/vibration.

 

It's a digital signal.. the speed or quality of the cable really doesn't matter. I got a $20 HDMI cable from Fry's and there is no quality difference from the $100 Psyclone cable I bought and returned to BestBuy. Honestly if they tell you to get the more expensive cable, chances are they don't know what they're talking about. There might be *some* truth down the road, but right now any HDMI cable is fine to use.

scion_jon: You sure you don't make it vibrate it yourself? Haha. I do remember seeing an option for that I think. Didn't work for me but then I wasn't playing Motor Storm at the time. I actually took that game back and got Untamed.

not as much as id like, its not as strong as the old ps controllers
