Enchanted arms, Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice, Eternal Sonata and soon Valkyria. Are they not RPG?

thanks for all the input guys. I still don't know which on to get. I have been a die hard PS gamer since PS one and Dream Cast never took offf ( I still play it. Graphics are better then PS2 and Xbox ) , I have to say I mostly play sports games. which both systems have. I am really big one G.T.A and Ground Tourismo. I do use my PS2 as my dvd player also. and i will be getting a new 32 inch HD Flat Screen really soon. And I do watch a lot more movies then I play video games. I think I might go with the PS3 unless I hear some really strong cons towards it. I know xbox had great online play, but I don't like playing online that much. I do it with the PS2 now. , I also think I might look into getting a used 360 on ebay. anyone selling theirs ?

If you're going to put upcoming and ____ty ones, I might as well too. The 360 has more and better RPGs than the PS3, you cannot argue that fact.

Just counted the total RPGs on the PS3 and 360 that are currently out. PS3 has 7, 360 has 19.

I just out negotiated the guys at Circuit City and confused them until after the sale they went "uh...oh...wait a second" LMAO! I WIN!

 

wait WTF how did you do that.. I know CC sometimes let things pass. I was able to get a slim PS2 when they frist came out at CC cause someone forgot to stock them on the floor and left the sold out stickers on the window. I went in to get a car charger for my phone and went to pay at the customer Service counter. And behind the girl was a pyrmid of the Slim PS2. They said display on them. but I noticed that they all had the secuirty stickers on them. So I asked her if she could check if those boxes where empty. No they where not. I got one ..

 

PS3 is what, 400? The 360 is only 200. If you are going to be watching DVDs mostly, i would go for the 360.

 

Actually, my 360 is a wifi entertainment system, too... I installed the Zune software on my laptop, so I can watch and listen to everything I download on my 360 without having to plug the laptop in to my entertainment center. Is very nice.

Seriously? The Xbox has "Halo and that's about it"? Talk about blissfully ignorant. I wonder what everyone else here who has a 360 has been playing, since Halo is the only thing worth playing. And SIXAXIS is dead... replaced by the DualShock 3, which is the SIXAXIS with vibration capability that Sony said was impossible to have in their controllers.

I keep hearing people talk about things that make the PS3 better... but truth be told, I don't think I've ever really cared about them. The 360's graphics are as good as the PS3's, and the PS3 games that do look better than the 360's are usually underwhelming to play. I've never cared about Bluetooth vs. RF wireless, because I've never found myself wanting to sync my 360 controller to my mobile phone. I've never cared about Blu-Ray, because I don't buy Blu-Ray movies and I'm not about to pay $400 for the "experience" they offer.

 

ok, after doing more and more research online on the 360, I think I'm going to be getting one really soon. Doing the math. I can spend around 200 $ and get a base system and add on a 120 HD and Wireless Controllers and a few Madden 09. And with in the next 2 months I will be getting my new Flat Screen.. so it will be a stay at home winter for me.

I'm taking the advise of friend. he suggested I get a used system online, I could pick one up for under 60 bucks. Thats what I'm shooting for. xbox HD I know where I can get 120 HD for under 40 bucks. (i know poeple ) Wireless Controllers well I'm just going to go to walmart and a new ones. and madden 09 its been out long enuff where I can get a used copy. But for that I might have to join up to xbox live and there are more games I'm looking at that I want to get. Damn MS you got me hooked on your xbox even before I have it.

 

if u care about graphic get 360, way better than ps3 when it comes to the graphic

ps3 lacks games and online also has the yellow light of death as well
360 has great games ,great online but high death rate im on #3
go to the store see what each has as far as what you want or like...and cdogbert is right unless you are drunk with friends the wii is really not fun...

both systems have some games that i want. but for the most part the majority of the games are on both platforms. But since my girl and me have stopped eating out and bring our lunches to work. I have been saving a crap load of money so I will be using that for entertainment. so for my b-day I might by myself a PS3

 

FWIW, I still trot out my original nintendo to play Cyberball, complete with having to blow for two minutes into the carteidge to get it to work. I seriously wish they'd make a modern version of that game, as well as Mutant League football.
