maybe in the future games should come with 1-time license keys or something, but for now i'm just glad they're offering the ripping at all.
*edit* google proved easier then i expected for those load time videos

Who's really going to justify going out and buying a bigger hard drive just so their games load 8 seconds faster, though? My disc drive is far from "jet" loud, but maybe that's because I'm just not paying attention when I turn my Xbox on. Or maybe I'm just not hardcore enough.
my drive sounds like a small shuttle is taking off in my house when i stick a game in. but i'm gonna get a talismoon whisper fan soon cuz it's getting out of hand. is your 360 a launch one? mine isn't even a launch system, it's an elite and it's still pretty loud...

but my 360 i play all the time. i dunno, i used to be all about sony but they kinda let me down with the ps3. seems like every game that gets hyped is delayed at least 4 months. i haven't seen a single 360 exclusive get delayed that i can think of.
yeah i was getting mad at ms for all the bs ,i paid for the launch console so i got no hdmi ,then im on my 3rd one and i get a refurb not new,,,then my wheel got the recall but ms took about 5 months to send me the box ,,i was just about to jump ship then what do ya know f'n gow2 comes out ...the games on 360 are just keeping me here ...i can say though sony is finaly putting in effort ..it was nice to see a new update with movies although its limited but 360 is not all that great for movies unless you wanna see old ones..i did manage to find unreal 3 for 10.00 bucks for ps3 at frys....

Unless Sony can get their in-house ish together, they may never recover with the PS3. A lot of games
are becoming multi-console because the new generation of games are becoming quite expensive to
produce. Sony does have GOOD in-house games (Uncharted, R&C, and MotorStorm(s) to name a
few), but nothing GREAT. (Except for LBP.)
resistance 2 got great reviews from what i saw and it's a ps3 exclusive.
oh yeah the dashboard update will also integrate netflix with your account if you have a subscription with them...i guess they have a ___-ton of movies that you can stream to your 360 for free if you have the service from netflix...i think it's like 9 bucks a month...i'd like to see the catalog before jumping on it though...and i usually..."acquire" all my movies elsewhere anyways

Unchartered, Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, God of war 3....and Rockstar's next major piece of work....ps3 exclusive.
+blu-ray player, slick user interface, bluetooth connectivity, Playstation Home...
Like I say, the Xbox 360 is a gaming console. The PS3 is an entertainment console.

lol problem with your list of games is that half of them aren't out yet. sony always puts eta's on games and then fails to deliver. as far as 360 being an "entertainment" console, i don't see how bluetooth makes it any better or worse. the only thing i notice is that my damn harmony remote won't work with it because of their stupid proprietary bluetooth remote.
playstation home...has been coming out for like 2 years. along with gt5.
the 360 streams all the multimedia the ps3 does so i wouldn't say it has any advantage in the entertainment aspect. although i do like the 1.5x advance speed on the ps3 where you can still hear audio, it's nice to use during ufc ppv's during ring entrances and pre-fight videos.

Okay, I gave Resistance 2 a shot last night. Took me 17 minutes from PS3 turn on til I got to start playing, having to download the update, install the update, restart, and install the game. And the verdict is...lol generic shooter. I didn't see the popularity behind the first one, and the second one is pretty much the same, with some differences.
Could someone please tell me the advantage of bluetooth on the PS3? They both have wireless, non-line of sight controllers and wireless headsets, what am I missing here.
For the Wii, it was awesome. Using software called Glovepie and an IR emitter under my computer monitor, I"m able to use the Wiimote as a moust, literally pointing on screen to move the cursor, and using the trigger for left click. There's some script for motion control too if you like coding.
As an entertainment console, I would say the XBox 360 Netflix partnership is pretty friggin huge in that category. They're giving the option of subscription-based viewing vs. pay per view, we'll have to waitr for launch to see if the movie library is any good.

Absolutely nothing. People think that because it uses Blutooth, it's better, when in reality, it's not. It has the same range as 360 controllers, same turn on time/connectivity time, and worse battery life (I use my 360 almost every day, and the rechargeable batteries last 1-2 weeks on a full charge, I use my PS3 once a month, and I need to charge it after about 10 hours.)
