whenever a game comes out on both systems. the 360 version typically runs smoother. the PS3 version typically suffers from lower frame rate, screen tearing, bland textures. a super small minority of games actually look better on PS3 (richer colors, brighter). new releases these days run basically the same on both systems. you'd have to compare side-by-side to notice these minor differences. IGN and Gamespot likes to compare with multiplatform releases.
I have a buddy who works as a PS3 development tools programmer for Naughty Dog (owned by Sony), who tells me developers still need to learn alot to unlock the potential of the PS3. According to him most developers had a hard time learning to program well for the PS3. He says the PS2 was harder to program when it came out, but of course there was no Xbox then to make comparisons to.
i used to always play my 360 and my PS3 collected dust. when my 360 started having problems, I started buying PS3 versions of multiplatform games and now my 360 collects dust (except for Gears of War 2).

are you sure its what it says?the first time it was told that netflix was joining it stated a small library to choose from ...like new movies will not be able to stream when it comes out etc..so now it says something else ..well we will see as tonight it comes out..
Well, after the download I was a bit disappointed. The streaming works great mind you, only a short wait to begin and no stops in the middle.
However, I was suprised that I had to go on my PC and load my que before it would even show up on XBox. I was hoping I could browse the instant watch library directly from the XBox. Having to fill the que via PC first seems unneccessary.
Also, Columbia has pulled their linup from Netflix Instant Watch because they are owned by Sony. They may be added back in later under a new agreement. Gotta hate corporate synergy.
