i have given up trying to go any faster. if you put all my fastest sector times together im in the 1.34.5 to 135.0 range but cant string them all together for a fast lap!!! grrr

 

the part that kills my time is the turn leading up to the hill before the corckscrew... i just cant seem to get a fast line through that section. i've tried everything from staying on the track to cutting the corner and going thru the dirt. i can't get thru that turn quickly like... at all!

 

i have had the same porblem....who pick this track anyway.............

 

i call midfield or suzuka for the next one!

 

I get a good run out of that corner cutting the corner through the dirt, it says 3rd gear, but tap brake to just get into 2nd and hammer, seems to catapult you, but I can't seem to put together a good string of corners. Last car I tried was an Evo RS that I had in my garage, stripped it down (was 510hp) and ran a 1'38:something.

 

whoa... even with a decked out evo you couldnt go faster than a 1'38.XX? i think you need some practice!

 

The braking point is the shadow of the bridge or just before it.. in slow out fast.

No, that time was with a stripped evo, took off all the mods I had on it and just added the basic sport exhaust, springs, ect., ran it fully modded and smoked that time, just can't remember what it was, ran a ton of laps in all kinds of mod formats, nothing else to do but race after work, lol.
