so last night me and a friend left another friends house. at that house the two guys that lived there were smoking weed... i dont smoke, but one of them is a real good friend of mine so whatever.. i deal with it haha.. so. i get in my car ( 05 xb ) we are driving down a major road in charlotte.. then blue lights behind me.. so i quickly pull over into a little shopping area. at this time my friend was like dude i have a lil weed on me.. so i was like ughh. i didnt think much of it because i thought i was getting pulled for my tag light being out. well that wasnt the case at all. the cop walks up to the car and yells "step out of the car right now and put your hands up" i look at my friend and gave him that dude wtf look. so we get out and they are like "who has the weed we smell it on you" so my friend was like saying he did and all so they search us. then proceed to search the entire car. and i noticed they seemed not to care at all about the marijuana. at this time we are sitting on the curb and i am just like dude what the F. so they put us in seperate cars and question us. so i just told them exactly what we did and where we are going and coming from. my friend told them the same.. so.. they then tell us someone was robbed on the street we just were at and the guy called the cops saying we did it and gave them a description of my car. so the cop i was talking to was like ok here is the deal.. go tell your friend to dump the weed out and you guys can go.

i have never been that scared in my entire life haha it was crazy. there was a k9 unit and 9 cop cars all around us.. man it was rediculous.

yea i was pretty scared because of the pot he had.. i didnt know he had that ____, i dont let people ride with it in my car.. but i was just really cooperative with the cops.. they asked if they could search the car and i said yea and i was like telling them what they would find in the back and all (delivery bag and a wrench and all) haha i was trying to be as helpful as possible

Yeah for doing their job and pulling over a car that fit the description of one they were looking for for robbery, right? They were doing their job, they were nice and let the guy go once they realized he was innocent. The cop could have been a dick and taken them both in for the pot if he wanted, I think they lucked out and the cop was cool

 

yea we lucked out.. he also said he coulda gave me a ticket for my tag light being out.. another for having a tinted cover on the tag, and even another for the aftermarket exhaust..

he was like .. if i wanted i could let you guys go and then pull you over again for the exhaust..

 

Usually the people with anti-cop attitudes are people who break the laws and get caught.

 

true.. haha i hate police.. not becuase they pull people over and give tickets.. i just hate them, because i hate driving down the road and looking in the rear view and seeing a cop.. then im like crap and get all nervous.. even though im doing nothing wrong.. i just feel like im gonna do something wrong lol.

wow, thats nuts! good thing you or your friend didnt lie to the cops. i hate cops but i know never to lie to them, because once they find out you're lying, you're f'd.

 

i woulda said somethin cause they cant search ya car like that if they were going through the glove compartments and center consoles. i woulda made a big deal about that and if i got thrown in jail so be it but id have a lawyer the next day.

nahh.. see what happend was.. someones car actually was broken into right before we were leaving.. and i guess my car is loud and stands out.. the people thought that we did it.. the only time anyone was smoking weed was at someones apartment 2 hours before this.. anyways.. they had a reason to search my car.. they were looking for what was stolen from the persons car.
