She got it backwards. She should've cut his ***** off first, then killed him. It says he molested her and her sister for years.

i agree, what she did was right because that dude was ____ed up like crazy. u never hear of people getting revenge on the ones that abused them. her lawyer - saw it on tv yest - said that she's probably gona be innocent because of all the ____ she went thru - but obviously she's gona need to see a doc.

a support site for her - http://www.savebrigitte.com/

Dude got off easy. I would have tied him up and let him live with no ***** and an open wound. Maybe dying of an infected crotch after a few weeks would be a little more appropriate. Glad to see sometimes justice being served.

That's what the guy deserved.

Speaking of child molestation/castration; has anyone seen the movie Hard Candy?

^ haven't seen it but apparently the girl that did the crime saw hard candy and some other movie about revenge on an abuser. plus, her ebay account shows that she bought a scalpal and razor blades recently... i saw that info on some site somewhere

Dang. Is there any documented evidence that the dad was an abuser? Medical exams, school psychiatric reports ?

Usually, most abuse victims are terrified of their abusers, even years, decades after the abuse happens. I haven't heard of too many victims seeking revenge like that.

On the other hand, it disrupts my sense of justice of sending the abuser to prison where he becomes worth 2 packs of cigarettes.

Hmm... She was last raped 8 years ago. Before everyone flames me, I am just stating that in my opinion, even considering all the physical/psychological trauma she experienced as a child, I do not believe she should be glorified as a hero either. Two wrongs don't make a right. Buying a scalpel and whatever other equipment to commit a premeditated murder is a bit much. After reading the thread, and before reading the article I was under the impression that she killed him in an act of self defense during his one of his attacks. But 8 years later? Premeditated murder? I am just not for people taking justice into their own hands, she should have reported it long before.

Hopefully she will be able to plead temporary insanity and just have to get evaluated every month.

I agree with you for the most part. However, rape victims rarely speak out, specially if it's from a family memeber or a person they know and done various times.

^^ I agree, but 8 years later, come over and chop him up? Don't know, somewhere in between she should have taken another course of action imo.

I agree with menace on this one. She needs to be put in prison or at the bare minimum a mental institution.

Waiting that long to do something is a bit much. What she did was wrong. What her father did was wrong. They are both victims and attackers at the same time in my eyes

I understand your point, but am not sure one could completely put themselves in her position or state of mind considering the prolonged abuse. I, myself, would harbor an intense hatred and would certainly have vivid thoughts of revenge if I had been taken advantage of in such a way. I cannot say that I would be able to control these feelings if I had been in her situation.
Eventually, under the constant stress something like this would cause, one would eventually SNAP! At least in this situation, the victim was her rapist and not some poor innocent bystander.
She certainly should be put through some psychiatric evaluation, though. We certainly don't want her becoming some sort of vengeful man-hater that goes on a random killing spree, slicing off the ***** of the innocent!
