Don very nice pictures, my only regret is that you didn't post more! :D hah. my fav is still the pink flower one.
Please don't take any of my comments negatively to heart. You certainly have some of the best photos Ive seen in this thread.

Alas, I really dig your style of photgraphy. It's almost consumerist like those you find in advertisements.
incredibly sharp images, nice dynamics and hyper realistic colors. Fantastic.

Im looking for a cheap wide angle temp lens.

can you post the best ones in one post? this thread is pretty long and too many to sift through,
thanks! Im broke right now, times are harsh and money is low. BUT i need a wide angle lens to fill in for my wide angle needs hah. Im assuming from the reviews Ive been reading that the optical qualities are very sharp, but color and contrast is poor. If thats the case simple raw editing can fix its shortcomings.

jon with the pic of the stop light, did you post process any extra sharpness? if not it looks like this lens may have issues on outside borders, Im referring to what looks like fous issues im seeing with the branches to the outside left.
Also have this one of a friend but I don't have it on webshots of flickr so here's the link

also, a GREAT wide angle general purpose lens is the Tamron 17-50 f/2.8. It's as sharp if not sharper than my 17-55 f/2.8 IS, which cost 3 times more.
I'd vouch for this lens any day. Spend a little more over the 18-55 for this, you get image quality, speed, and low DOF. Goodies!
