no you didnt tell me to get one guy, you told me to get a polarizer guy, you never discussed anything that i needed really? you forget Im a DSLR noob you coulda been like michael jackson and taken me to DSLR never land guy
i thought that was just common knowledge. Considering that is one of the first accessories that any place suggests to u.
And trust me u aren't ready for DSLR never land. there are WAY more accessories than u could even imagine. Heck just with flash photography u have to learn first and 2nd curtain photography.

I use my polarizer on my UV because im too lazy to remove the UV filter for it. However its common sense that removing the UV before attaching the polarizer will yield better results as there is less glass in front of the lens to alter the image.
In regards to UV filter, its the first accessory to buy for a new lens. You should actually buy the UV filter at the same time you buy the lens, and before you do anything attach the filter on the lens asap and never take it off unless you have to.
Some people however take off their UV filters for certain shots, i.e. to prevent light reflecting off the lens and back onto the filter or if they need the sharpest image possible.

anyone here have any recommendations on a good portable flash bracket?
from what Ive read a lot of people recommend the tiffen stroboframe.
but that one isnt really portable, I actually want one a bit more stealth and not blatantly obvious, IMO large brackets look kind of ridiculous, though I know with brackets its function over form.
I like the demb flash bracket, but people seem to say its a poorly designed one. Ive also seen some compact ones on ebay, rotating flash brackets which look pretty compact, I dont know about its quality though.
Or should I just get a lightsphere cloud and be done with it, even thought it looks just as ridiculous as a bracket to me but much more easier to handle. Only drawback is portrait orientation still has the flash beside the lens and not over it.

i leave my UV filter on all the time and just put my CP on over the top of it. I'm not exactly trying to shoot professionally so it doesn't have to be perfect.
Jon i like the Axe "ad" u made. Maybe level out the bottle tho?
The exposure on ur hand is nice but photo is a little boring. Nothing really to look at. Just a hand. ha ha Photos should tell some sort of story. not just HEY LOOK AT MY HAND. ha ha Put the hand on a keyboard or something to show action or tell a story in some way. Know what I mean?
Shane the bananas are cool except for the harsh shadows. Nice PS work tho. I wish I knew how to do that stuff.
